Bio AP - Was rather boring. Just putting the notebook together and w/e.
APUSH - Interesting discussion. x3 I like the class. They do all the talking and keep Ms. CG from calling on people. I like listening to discussions in history.
Chem AP - NAMING. LOL. POLYATOMIC IONS AAAAAH. But it was still pretty fun.
Pre Calc - Stark showed some calculator stuff. Ummm yeah. I'm glad that the people in my class go up to the boards because I like to stay in my seat whether I knowt he answer or not. :D
Art 2 - Kind of boring today. Ok, so I just didn't like today because WE HAD TO GO OUTSIDE. IT WAS HORRID. DARN YOU GESTURE SKETCHES/NATURE SKETCHES. IHU SUPER SUNNY DAY.
American Lit - 'speech' practice and grammar! Ahahaha it was pretty interesting actually. xDDD We were supposed to work on our voices and so when we got to the 'I have a Dream' reading, Michael was reading his part... then when Cameron told him to talk deeper he started using his Russian accent and stuff. LOL And so another guy in our group said that he sounded more like Stalin and not like Martin Luthor King. XDDD It was very amusing and our group started laughing. XP Unfortunately, Mr. Ebbink wouldn't let us continue that for very long. LOL But it was amusing while it lasted. :D
Japanese 4- Errr yeh, nothing much. xP We are a sad class. And I'm going to have to catch up ASAP. =3='' | | |
| First day of school! It wasn't too bad. :D Maybe it's because I was freaking out during the weekend thinking how horrible everything would turn out. *shrug*
So, the classes:
1. AP Bio - From what I can see so far, Frazier isn't as bad as people keep saying but who knows. I won't say anything yet. Jade's in my class! Yay :D So is... err was it Annie or Connie. o-o One of them.
2. APUSH - Same as above with Ms. CG. Well, I didn't hear anything bad about her, but the class isn't as bad as I expected... yet. Cat's in the class :D So is Bonnie and some other people. And Michael. Lol it's going to be a noisy class. >.> It was pretty loud already for the first day of school.
3. AP Chem - I LOVE GUPTA. AHAHAHA ZOMG THE BURNING ETHANOL 'SNOWBALL' WAS AWESOME. <3 Juggling it. Wahahaha. I was too scared to do anything though. :P Plus it looked rather slimy... I don't care if there's no one I know in the class. Gupta's class = love PERIOD.
4. Pre Calc H - Stark doesn't seem too bad. I mean his grading thing seems ugh Imma die, but >.> As a teacher he seems fun. I'll just have to try in his class. Although... blah. D: No one I know. *sobs* Or no one that I'm friendly with anyways.
5. Art 2 - Mr. Shelton said he didn't want me to drop the class and that he'll work something out with me. No friends there though. :| And of course, most are sophmores. I'm only taking the class to improve my art and because I have Shelton. :D
6. American Lit/Writ - Ebbink of course. Quite a few people that I know in the class. I took it because it's easy so yeah. xP Michael kept whispering stuff about last year when Mr. Ebbink said what we'd do in class. Like the little speeches he said we'd do. xD He said that last year too and errr yeah, we never got to it. =3= Maybe this year'll be different since there's so few kids in the class?
7. Japanese 4H - Self introduction. DDD: FOR A MINUTE. But at least I don't feel alone in the class. ;-; A lot of people don't know the stuff and I can at least understand (or guess) what she says. Seriously, for any language my listening skills > speaking/writing skills. ._.'

| I need to change the icky banners at some point. The ugly graphics burn my eyes. (edit: Woot. Changed them all. xD One of them's still old but I'm too lazy to make new banners ._. 2 were for my LJ, 1 for O-K forum)
It's been a while since I updated here! Summer's already coming to a close and APUSH makes me suffer. Not only does it bore me to sleep, it won't stay in my head after reading it. I have a CD playing some facts on audio, I look at some outlines, and I go over the book, but it's all too boring for me. .____. I should ask my dad if I could just get a B on APUSH.
On the other hand, I'm starting to go over chem and yes I still like it. I can probably finish chapter 1 today, work on chapter 2 tomorrow, finish up on the day after and get a good start on chapter 3 before I start school. Most of chapters 1-3 are review but my memory sucks so the details escape me. I do believe I'll take up Gupta's advice and paste the polyatomic atoms all over my house. I can't seem to figure out any other way to get them in my head. Also, I wanted to share this little bit. xD It's strangely amusing for something that's in a textbook.

I might drop or keep art depending on how much work Mr. Shelton says it'll be. I'm pretty happy with the schedule though. Especially since they don't have Walther as the J4H teacher and I have Gupta. :D GUPTA! Gupta is such an awesome teacher and she's had such a big influence for me. <3
Also, Mr. Ebbink shouldn't be too hard. >.> I want SOME sort of easy class. Although I don't know about Stark and Giannini. I've heard that Frazier sucks so I'll have to see about that too. I'm looking forward to the classes where I know the teachers, but the rest... :\ Especially APUSH. Watch me fall asleep *snort*. Overall, I'm not looking forward to school. It might've been different if I only had to worry about Gupta/Shelton/Howard/Ebbink. xD
HOW do you get history to stick in your brain? Let alone 16 chapters of US history.
Everyone's studying for SATs and I'm sooo very much slacking with SATs. DDD: I've picked up my SAT workbook... once.... during this whole summer.
